Accounting Manager

Overview A growing middle market manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee its accounting operations and support continued growth across the business. Reporting to the Global Controller, this position will be responsible for leading the accounting team, maintaining accurate financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, and providing financial analysis to support operational and commercial decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting leader who enjoys developing teams, improving processes, and serving as a strategic partner to the broader organization. Responsibilities Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements Ensure financial reporting complies with GAAP Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Provide financial analysis related to manufacturing performance, inventory, capital investments, and commercial activity Coordinate audit requests, tax schedules, and regulatory reporting Lead, coach, and develop members of the accounting team Partner with operational and branch leadership across the organization Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Seven or more years of progressive accounting experience Previous management or supervisory experience Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and GAAP Experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred ERP system experience required; Oracle EPM experience is a plus Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Confidential
