Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Oak Park, IL

Step into a contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time role running January through June. This position covers a leave of absence and offers the chance to positively impact young learners' communication skills. Youll work closely with a dedicated team, helping students thrive academically and socially. Qualifications and Desired Skills: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Holds (or eligible for) SLP-CCC or is a Clinical Fellow (CFY) Illinois licensure or eligibility required Background in pediatrics or prior school-based SLP experience preferred Strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and school documentation Effective communication and collaboration skills Responsibilities: Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention services for an elementary caseload Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver student-centered care Maintain accurate records of student progress and adhere to all compliance requirements Offer both individual and group therapy aimed at developing speech, language, and communication abilities Support IEP development and attend meetings as needed Deliver expert strategies and education to staff and parents to enhance student success What Youll Enjoy: Full-time schedule with consistent hours Opportunity to focus on elementary-age students Make a genuine difference during a crucial mid-year period Work in a collegial, professional school setting Support from a staffing partner experienced in educational placements Compensation for this position ranges from $36.40 to $66.40.
