We are seeking an  Electronics Manufacturing Technician to support the production of next-generation hardware products in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment.

In this role, you will work closely with engineering teams to assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair advanced electronic systems. You'll play a critical role in transitioning hardware products from prototype development to production while helping identify and resolve manufacturing challenges.

Responsibilities

Electronic Assembly & Manufacturing

• Assemble complex electronic systems, circuit boards, cables, and electromechanical components.
• Build and manufacture wire harnesses and cable assemblies.
• Follow engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and technical documentation.
• Perform prototype and production hardware builds with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.

Testing & Troubleshooting

• Conduct functional testing and inspections of electronic assemblies.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic systems and components.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and testing methodologies to identify root causes of failures.
• Support failure analysis, rework, and corrective actions.

Engineering & Prototype Support

• Partner with engineering teams during prototype development and product builds.
• Provide feedback on manufacturing processes and design improvements.
• Assist in resolving production challenges and improving build efficiency.
• Support new product introduction activities and manufacturing readiness efforts.

Operations Support

• Assist with inventory management, shipping, receiving, and material handling.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, manufacturing procedures, and safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in electronics assembly, manufacturing, or production environments.
• Experience assembling electronic components, circuit boards, wiring systems, and electromechanical assemblies.
• Experience building wire harnesses and cable assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
• Hands-on experience testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic systems.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity when working with small components.
• Ability to support multiple functions across production, inventory, shipping/receiving, and engineering support.
• Ability to obtain a Security Clearance (clearance not required at time of hire).

Preferred Qualifications

• Aerospace, defense, space, medical device, or other high-reliability manufacturing experience.
• IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 Certification.
• Advanced soldering skills, including microscope soldering of miniature components.
• Experience with PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) manufacturing, rework, and repair.
• Prototype hardware build experience.
• Experience collaborating directly with engineering and R&D teams.
