We're a small, fast-moving team doing hard engineering that matters, and we're looking for people who want to do the best work of their careers alongside us.We are looking to hire an Electronics Technician who will build and test power electronics including assembly, rework, and repair of printed circuit boards (PCBA) and wire harnesses. This role will work closely with the electronics manufacturing and engineering team on production assemblies and prototypes.Inspection, assembly, and test of PCBAs and wire harnesses in accordance with process plans and work instructionsAssist in opportunities for streamlining manufacturing (brainstorming and process development)Support engineering teams in prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting power electronics hardware, including PCBAs and wire harnessesDocument test results, and rework activities in accordance with quality and regulatory standards.Electronics Lab upkeep and organizationDocument non-conformance issues and quality concernsIdentify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for yield, performance, and cost1+ years of experience in electronics or electro-mechanical assemblyProficiency in hand soldering TH and SMD componentsAble to proficiently use a PC, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office suite, ERP and related programsStrong written and verbal communication skillsOrganized with strong attention to detailResults-driven with a willingness to learn quicklyHigh emotional intelligence for effective collaboration and adaptability to fast pace changeAbility to access CUI/ITAR/EAR controlled informationWillingness to obtain/recertify IPC, J-STD-001 certificationExperience with quality standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, IPC-7711, IPC-7721, J-STD-001, etc.)Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, PCB layout drawings, work instructions, and parts lists/Bill of materialsExperience working in a startup environmentJoining H3X means working on hard, meaningful problems with a skunkworks-style team that's laser-focused on building exceptional products.
