Synergy HomeCare of Colorado Springs, a leading provider of home care services, is seeking experienced caregivers to join our team. As an experienced caregiver with Synergy HomeCare of Colorado Springs, you will have the opportunity to work with clients with advanced illnesses, providing hands-on support and companionship.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, dependable caregiver to work with clients who require consistent, hands-on support. This position is not entry-level and is best suited for a caregiver comfortable working with higher-acuity clients. As an experienced caregiver, you will be responsible for providing skilled, compassionate care to our clients, including:
- Hands-on assistance with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Full support with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
- Parkinson's-specific care, including cueing, patience with movement and speech, and fall prevention
- Meal preparation and feeding assistance as needed
- Companionship and emotional support
- Maintaining a safe, clean environment
- Following the care plan and communicating changes to the office
Requirements:
- Prior caregiving experience with advanced illnesses
- Comfortable providing hands-on personal care and transfers
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle and current auto insurance
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Able to follow direction and communicate clearly
Preferred:
- CNA or equivalent hands-on caregiving experience
- Experience with Parkinson's, MS, Dementia or similar conditions
