Contract | Onsite | Evening Shift (3x12 Hours, 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM) | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a large, high-acuity Emergency Department serving adolescent through geriatric populations
• Manage patient assignments at a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio in a 59-bed ED averaging 165–175 patients per day
• Utilize Epic EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems for documentation and medication management
• Deliver care in a Stroke and STEMI Certified emergency setting, responding to high-acuity and time-sensitive cases
• Work assigned major holidays per contract terms and float within facility and scope of practice as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience; first-time travelers not accepted
• Prior travel nursing experience required; candidates with at least 3 completed ER travel contracts strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Three or more completed Emergency Room travel nursing contracts
• Experience in a high-volume, high-acuity general emergency department (non-trauma)
• Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing systems
