Maintenance Worker (Field Unit Local Hiring Authority)
Department of the Interior
Duties
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following:
- Provides routine maintenance on park facilities including minor carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical work.
- Assists higher grade maintenance employees in the performance of maintenance tasks.
- Safely and effectively uses hand power tools required for the job and has the ability to maintain these tools properly.
