About the Role

We're seeking a hands-on, tech-curious, and customer-focused Technician to join our Convention Services team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to launch a career in IT and telecom networking while working in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

You'll be onsite at events, ensuring clients are connected and supported from setup to teardown. You'll gain practical experience with network hardware, cable installations, and real-time problem solving—while delivering exceptional service to exhibitors and event teams.

What You'll Do

• Set up and support internet and telecom connections for exhibitors
• Read event floor plans and translate them into network layouts
• Install, configure, and test copper and fiber optic cabling
• Troubleshoot wired and wireless connectivity issues
• Conduct pre-event site checks and post-event breakdowns
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations and testing
• Provide responsive customer support during live events
• Ensure safety and compliance standards are met
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies

• Experience with copper or fiber cabling
• Background in customer service, tech support, or event production
