The Woods at Sparta Sparta, GA 31087, USA Description The Woods at Sparta is hiring Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses for 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. shifts and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Eligible full-time and part-time Care Team Members can earn an additional $5/hr attendance bonus for working their scheduled shifts. We also offer weekly pay with DailyPay available. Major Duties and Responsibilities Provide nursing care in accordance with your RN or LPN license, applicable scope of practice, current regulations, and facility policies and procedures. Direct and support certified nursing assistants and other assigned nursing personnel. Follow the nursing model to promote holistic, resident-focused care. Ensure assigned nursing personnel follow established policies and procedures. Participate in resident admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed. Monitor residents for changes in condition and complete assessments as permitted by licensure and scope of practice. Notify the physician, nursing leadership, and the resident’s family or representative of significant changes and document them appropriately. Transcribe and carry out physician orders as permitted by licensure. Administer medications and treatments as ordered. Communicate with residents, families, physicians, CNAs, and other members of the care team. Required Qualifications A current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the practicing state A nursing degree or diploma from an accredited nursing program Current CPR certification Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience is preferred, but not required Together, let’s change lives one heart at a time. #JoinTheJourney We are committed to equal opportunity.
