  • Coordinate with radiologists and the comprehensive care team to verify accurate diagnoses
  • Strategically position patients and adjust equipment settings for optimal results
  • Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols for patients and team members
  • Maintain detailed logs and records including equipment upkeep and imaging documentation
  • Deliver compassionate care throughout the imaging journey
  • Enhance the imaging environment by promoting safety, structure, and efficiency
Educational Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
  • Must have completed an accredited radiology program
Certifications Needed
  • ARRT certification for CT and/or Radiography
  • Current BLS certification or the capability to obtain within 90 days of hire
Qualities That Stand Out
  • In-depth knowledge of radiographic imaging protocols and safety practices
  • Exceptional communication abilities with patients and interdisciplinary teams
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting, adjusting seamlessly to evolving priorities
  • A detail-oriented approach paired with a strong sense of accountability
  • Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and cutting-edge imaging technology
Your Benefits
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Generous paid time off alongside flexible scheduling options
  • Access to ongoing education and training right at your workplace
  • Career advancement opportunities in imaging and cross-training in additional modalities
  • A supportive and values-driven culture that emphasizes team success and individual growth
  • A 100% on-site work environment within a collaborative clinical framework

Creating Connections: The Importance of Your Work

This role transcends the mere act of taking images - it is about making connections with patients. Each day, you'll be the reassuring figure for individuals undergoing scans for various reasons, whether it be a child recovering from an injury or a family member coping with illness. Your calm demeanor and professional touch can profoundly influence their experience, sometimes without a word being spoken.

Moreover, you will be part of a collegial imaging team that genuinely values your expertise. Together, with shared pride and an unspoken commitment to excellence, you will foster an environment of mutual trust and collaboration. Here, you have the autonomy to work independently yet benefit from the guidance and camaraderie of your colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care.

This role is integral to a department that champions transparency, ongoing development, and a valued voice. Your insights will not only be welcomed but embraced; whether it's optimizing a workflow or guiding a fresh graduate, your input is essential.

This position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of empathy. You understand that the imaging experience extends beyond the technology - it encompasses care and understanding. Calm under pressure and adaptable to changes, you're eager to play a pivotal role in the healthcare landscape.
