Scan with Purpose in the Breath of the Pacific Northwest - Where Innovation Meets Serenity

There's an undeniable charm about the lush landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. Perhaps it's the moss-draped trees that whisper stories or the vibrant culture that pulses through Seattle's lively streets. Beyond the iconic Space Needle and coffee shops, this region promises a haven for professionals who seek a blend of fulfillment and adventure. If you are a passionate Imaging Technologist looking for a career that offers both purpose and tranquility, we have an exceptional opportunity awaiting you.

Step into the dynamic world of medical imaging - an essential component of patient care. In this role, you will not only harness your technical skills to capture high-quality images but will also create a reassuring presence for patients during crucial moments. Whether you're securing a critical scan that influences treatment decisions or offering gentle support to ease a patient's nerves, your contribution is vital and widely recognized.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize advanced radiographic and CT techniques to produce clear diagnostic images for physician assessments
  • Coordinate with radiologists and the comprehensive care team to verify accurate diagnoses
  • Strategically position patients and adjust equipment settings for optimal results
  • Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols for patients and team members
  • Maintain detailed logs and records including equipment upkeep and imaging documentation
  • Deliver compassionate care throughout the imaging journey
  • Enhance the imaging environment by promoting safety, structure, and efficiency
Educational Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
  • Must have completed an accredited radiology program
Certifications Needed
  • ARRT certification for CT and/or Radiography
  • Current BLS certification or the capability to obtain within 90 days of hire
Qualities That Stand Out
  • In-depth knowledge of radiographic imaging protocols and safety practices
  • Exceptional communication abilities with patients and interdisciplinary teams
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting, adjusting seamlessly to evolving priorities
  • A detail-oriented approach paired with a strong sense of accountability
  • Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and cutting-edge imaging technology
Your Benefits
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Generous paid time off alongside flexible scheduling options
  • Access to ongoing education and training right at your workplace
  • Career advancement opportunities in imaging and cross-training in additional modalities
  • A supportive and values-driven culture that emphasizes team success and individual growth
  • A 100% on-site work environment within a collaborative clinical framework

Creating Connections: The Importance of Your Work

This role transcends the mere act of taking images - it is about making connections with patients. Each day, you'll be the reassuring figure for individuals undergoing scans for various reasons, whether it be a child recovering from an injury or a family member coping with illness. Your calm demeanor and professional touch can profoundly influence their experience, sometimes without a word being spoken.

Moreover, you will be part of a collegial imaging team that genuinely values your expertise. Together, with shared pride and an unspoken commitment to excellence, you will foster an environment of mutual trust and collaboration. Here, you have the autonomy to work independently yet benefit from the guidance and camaraderie of your colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care.

Experience Life in Seattle: The Ideal Setting for Your Next Career Chapter

Visualize a lifestyle where you start your day with artisanal coffee from a local café, take a bike ride through lush parks, and catch live music or enjoy seafood fresh from the coast. This is life in Seattle, a city known for its breathtaking landscapes that blend nature with urban vitality. Picture weekends spent hiking through scenic trails, enjoying waterfront views, and exploring vibrant neighborhoods that brim with cultural charm.

Beyond the stunning vistas and innovative spirit lies a community filled with warmth and opportunity. The local healthcare sector is expanding, offering a plethora of professional possibilities for both newcomers and seasoned practitioners. With no state income tax and a lively work-life balance, Seattle positions you to truly enjoy what each day has to offer.

Your Future Colleagues

In our imaging department, you will find a team culture rooted in respect, collaboration, and shared goals. Join a mix of seasoned professionals and enthusiastic newcomers who prioritize relational quality just as much as technical expertise. We believe that true excellence comes from a collective effort - we support each other, celebrate our achievements, and always keep the patient at the forefront of our mission.

This role is integral to a department that champions transparency, ongoing development, and a valued voice. Your insights will not only be welcomed but embraced; whether it's optimizing a workflow or guiding a fresh graduate, your input is essential.

Who You Are

This position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of empathy. You understand that the imaging experience extends beyond the technology - it encompasses care and understanding. Calm under pressure and adaptable to changes, you're eager to play a pivotal role in the healthcare landscape.

You bring your certification and your experience. We will provide the supportive environment, the dedicated team, and the opportunity for you to shine - where your best work is expected and celebrated.

Let's Make a Difference Together

If you're ready to embark on a career where your contributions resonate deeply, where your skills are acknowledged, and where every day presents meaningful opportunities - we want to hear from you. Step into one of the most vibrant cities in the nation and immerse yourself in an environment where healthcare and human relationships converge.
