Description

• Assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments and develop tailored treatment plans
• Administer physical therapy techniques aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Engage collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to enhance patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and exercises for home
• Record evaluations, treatments, and progress- ensuring adherence to facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Experience in the field is highly desirable
