Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems, including fuel, electrical, and exhaust systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and repairs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in diesel mechanics preferred.
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of diesel engine systems and components.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
