Security Officer - Area Patrol

As a Security Officer - Area Patrol in Goodyear, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a fast‑paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine driving and foot patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate for a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to the appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Monitor entrances, exits, delivery traffic, and/or pedestrian activity to help support site rules, visitor processing, and authorized access practices. Assist with alarms, disturbances, medical events, and/or operational disruptions by communicating clearly with site contacts, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
