If you have manufacturing or job shop experience and can stand on your feet throughout your shift, this opportunity could be what you seek!The TIG Welder, you will be responsible for setting up welding equipment for current, gas flow, voltage, torch angle, etc., depending on the varying thicknesses of metal being welded. Prepare materials for welding by drilling, grinding, tapping, cutting, and milling.The TIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding via blueprints and welding symbols, inspecting your work's accuracy, and lifting up to 50 pounds throughout your shift. This Temp-to-Hire opportunity will convert to full-time, depending on your performance and attendance!1st Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM / Voluntary overtime as needed.3rd Shift Schedule: Sunday: 11:30 PM – 8:00 AM / Monday – Thursday: 9:30 PM – 8:00 AM / Mandatory overtime.Rate: $20 - $23 per hour DOE.If you consider yourself a competent TIG Welder, we want to hear from you today!Qualifications: - Candidates must pass a welding skills test - Must be able to read and comprehend blueprints - TIG welding experience a must - Use micrometers and calipers - Experience with aluminum and stainless steel is a plusTrillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
