Position Information Job Title: Adjunct Welding/Manufacturing Instructor for Lake County Campus Location: Lake County Campus – Clear Lake, CA Job Description BASIC FUNCTION: Serve as lead instructor for the Manufacturing curriculum, maintain machine shop laboratory and technology, order and maintain equipment, organize and teach all levels of manufacturing courses (manual and CNC machining, welding/fabrication), develop and maintain curriculum, teach student advisement, maintain student records, ensure safe work environments, collaborate with staff and industry, develop advisory committee, provide student learning through teaching methods. Eligible for day, evening, weekend assignments, including distance learning, and participate in college initiatives and share‑governance. Perform tasks required in a manufacturing shop (lifting, bending, standing, etc.). Demonstrate sensitivity to diverse student backgrounds. Required Qualifications Any associate’s degree and six years of experience OR Any bachelor’s degree and two years of experience OR Equivalent Possess a California Community College life credential.
