And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.Key job responsibilities· Develop auditing automation strategies for transportation freight invoices and ensuring proper controls are in place in freight auditing and Invoice payment systems.· Create a “learn by doing” environment by engaging with financial analysts and business partners to promote and encourage continued customer focus and cost reduction· Partner with your team and oversee auditing operations, develop analytical models / automation efforts while overseeing their continuous innovation and communication to both your operations & other business partners· Work with technology teams and payable teams to ensure timely freight invoice payments and provide excellent carrier experience.· Manage and participate in finance and accounting activities globally with multiple currencies.· Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in accurately estimating freight cost and ensure payment accuracy.· Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations.· Analyze and solve business problems at their root.A day in the lifeAs a Cost Controller, the Builder starts the day reviewing freight invoices, auditing for billing issues and ensuring proper financial controls are in place. The Builder then performs analytics while promoting innovative ideas to advance auditing. The Builder partners extensively with Accounts Payable and Finance to guarantee timely vendor payments. Builder afternoons often involves advanced data analysis, creating outlier reports to flag abnormal spend, and compiling monthly evaluations benchmarking disruption trends. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
