What You’ll Do Our Duct Apprentices for our Construction department are an essential part of helping with system installs on our commercial and residential projects. You’ll assist mechanics with layout and installation of required materials and equipment for HVAC systems while learning the trade and growing within the company. Responsibilities Assist in measuring, cutting, and assembling sheet metal ductwork Support mechanics with installation tasks on job sites Learn to operate fabrication tools and equipment safely Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and company policies Participate in training programs to develop technical skills Requirements What You Bring Education/Certification: High school diploma or GED Skills and Abilities Interest in HVAC and sheet metal fabrication Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and as part of a team Ability to pass a background and drug pre‑employment screening U.S. work authorization Ability to read a ruler and basic measurements Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Physical & Work Conditions Ability to use hand tools Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and crouch Work in hot and cold weather conditions Ability to operate in an open work area with intermittent excessive noise Ability to work in a shop and construction environment Equal Opportunity & Pre-Employment Requirements Green Air, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
