We're looking for an Early Childhood Teacher to join our childcare team. Video Short about the Position Our Early Childhood Teachers play an important role in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow. You'll help children build social, emotional, and developmental skills while partnering with families and fellow educators to provide exceptional care. Responsibilities: Provide attentive, nurturing care for infants and young children while maintaining daily schedules and routines Assist with feeding, diapering, hygiene, and other daily care needs Create a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment Develop and encourage age appropriate learning, creativity, and social development Introduce children to art, music, sensory activities, outdoor play, and other educational experiences Observe children's developmental progress and communicate with parents and leadership Monitor children for health, behavioral, and emotional concerns while maintaining a safe learning environment Prepare children for the next stage of development and school readiness Partner with parents to support educational and behavioral goals Assist with lesson preparation and classroom activities Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards Support fellow teachers and assist with additional duties as assigned Requirements: Passion for working with children and early childhood education Positive attitude with a patient, caring, and dependable personality Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to multitask in a fast paced childcare environment Professionalism, reliability, and adaptability Ability to frequently lift, carry, and assist children weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the workday Ability to bend, kneel, squat, sit on the floor, and move comfortably between the floor and standing throughout the day Ability to successfully pass a background check Current CPR and First Aid Certification required Early Childhood Practitioner Level 1 Certification required Current record of immunizations required Schedule: Part time Monday through Friday 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM (6:30 PM during peak season) Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience as a childcare teacher, preschool teacher, daycare teacher, nanny, educational assistant, paraprofessional, or in an early childhood education setting preferred Candidates pursuing a career in Early Childhood Education are encouraged to apply Compensation: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour DOE Higher starting wages available for qualified candidates with required certifications and relevant experience Benefits (eligible full time team members): Competitive pay and opportunities for growth Medical, dental, and vision plan options 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Profit sharing Employee discounts On site employee daycare (select locations) Employee borrow program (take a camper and GO CAMPING) Holiday pay and paid time off benefits vary by position and company policy Disclosure: This list is not exhaustive.
