Respiratory Therapist Profession: RRT Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1-2 years License: Iowa License required Certifications: NBRC: CRT or RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP Must-Have Skills/Experience: Patient assessment Implementing treatments and therapies Experience with high-risk deliveries Managing invasive and non-invasive equipment Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Pediatric and neonatal experience Description: Must have Iowa license in hand. Background check required including criminal and child abuse portions, with no exemptions. Mandatory reporter certification required for both child and adult. Drug test must be a 10-panel screening including opiates. Candidates must have some experience with neonatal and pediatric patients. The facility is a regional health center providing a wide range of health services. The medical staff offers comprehensive care including emergency medicine and critical care. The patient population includes geriatric, adult, pediatric, and neonate patients. The facility is equipped with advanced respiratory equipment. Candidates will be expected to work collaboratively with a dedicated team. This role requires effective patient care and strong communication skills. Candidates must be able to implement and manage respiratory treatments effectively. High-quality care is the primary focus of this position.
