Medical Laboratory Scientist - Part-Time Night Medical Laboratory Scientist at Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR. Part‑time Night Shift. The Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist Journeyman is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of high‑complexity laboratory test results with minimal supervision. MT/CLS JRN personnel are capable of performing pre‑analytical, analytical and post‑analytical duties including specimen evaluation, data analysis, and instrument maintenance and problem resolution. They often work with acute‑care and outpatient caregivers, along with other Laboratory Services staff in performing their duties.
