Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive pain management services, including assessments and evaluations for patients suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans by collaborating with patients, assessing their progress, and making necessary adjustments to their care protocols.

Perform a range of procedures such as spinal injections, nerve blocks, and minimally invasive techniques, ensuring both efficacy and patient comfort.

Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Maintain meticulous patient records and documentation in compliance with medical standards and practices to ensure continuity of care.

Educate patients and their families on pain management strategies, medication use, and lifestyle modifications that can enhance overall treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus Our practice primarily serves a diverse range of patients, including those with chronic pain from conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, post-surgical pain, and injuries. Qualifications

Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program, and a Master’s degree is required.

Certification as a Physician Assistant from a national certifying body (ANCC, AANP, etc.) is mandatory.

Full prescriptive authority upon employment is essential, along with current DEA eligibility in the state of New York.

Strong knowledge and understanding of pain management principles and practices are required, along with proficiency in performing relevant medical procedures.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team are fundamental for success in this role.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in a pain management setting or specialty is highly advantageous.

Fellowship training in Pain Management or related field is preferred.

Ability to demonstrate a patient-centered approach with a focus on safe and balanced pain management strategies.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and empathize with patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $140,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
