Our team consists of highly skilled professionals who collaborate closely to deliver top-tier care and foster a thriving clinical community.Work EnvironmentThis position is based onsite at our Rehabilitation Center, where you will work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Our facility features state-of-the-art equipment and resources that support innovative treatment methodologies. You will be part of a diverse and skilled team that values continuous education and professional development, ensuring you remain at the forefront of the physical therapy field.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments to accurately evaluate patient conditions and mobility levels, using tailored physical examinations and diagnostic tools.Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapy techniques, focusing on a variety of orthopedic conditions.Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and self-management strategies, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to continue their recovery outside the clinic.Monitor patient progress and modify treatment programs as needed, documenting outcomes to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.Patient Population / Client FocusIn this role, you will primarily work with an outpatient population consisting of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgery rehabilitation, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Our patients range from athletes seeking to return to peak performance to older adults requiring support in regaining their mobility and independence. Your compassionate approach will play a crucial role in empowering patients during their recovery process.QualificationsActive Physical Therapist license in New York is required.A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is a minimum requirement; however, a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.A solid foundation of clinical knowledge and expertise, demonstrated through at least two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.Preferred ExperiencePrevious experience utilizing a variety of physical therapy modalities and rehabilitation techniques.Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for efficient patient documentation and data management.Proficiency in specialized therapeutic equipment, such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and exercise machines.Compensation and BenefitsAt Better Balance Physical Therapy, we offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, reflecting your experience and contributions to our team.
