Clinical Coordinator, Registered Nurse (RN) - OB/GYN

Clinical Coordinator RN - OB/GYN Purpose & Scope: In addition to providing patient care, the Clinical Coordinator (RN) facilitates the daily patient flow through the department and supervises patient care delivery on each shift. The coordinator performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative, and coordinates multiple clinical tasks with a high degree of competency. This position requires knowledge of both department and hospital policies and procedures relevant to the delivery of clinical care. Responsibilities Facilitate daily patient flow within the OB/GYN department. Supervise patient care delivery on each shift. Execute technical procedures independently, employing judgment and initiative. Coordinate multiple clinical and administrative tasks to ensure competency and compliance. Ensure adherence to department and hospital policies and procedures. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (required). Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions or a compact state licensure in nursing. Minimum of two years of health‑care/patient care experience. Supervisory experience preferred.
