Position Overview The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor will float between our Pacific Northwest communities, primarily at Eastlake, supervising maintenance staff and contractors to ensure building and grounds upkeep. Responsibilities Direct employees and contractors in apartment renovations, service requests, structural repairs, and ground maintenance. Obtain bids from outside contractors, assemble and analyze bids for approval. Order and receive supplies, appliances, and equipment from vendors. Coordinate vendor work and inspect completed work for compliance with specifications and standards. Inspect facilities and equipment to determine maintenance needs, required equipment, and type of service. Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for job assignments. Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules. Suggest changes in working conditions and equipment use to increase crew efficiency. Assist Property Manager in planning and administering maintenance budget. Participate in after‑hours and emergency coverage as assigned. Qualifications Related experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in property management. Prefer experience with Yardi. Experience in all trades. Excellent written, verbal, and computer communication skills. Past supervisory experience. Current driver’s license and auto insurance. Ability to work weekends and overtime as required. Compensation and Benefits Hourly wage: $32.00–$34.00. 401(k) match, rental incentive, renewal compensation, bonuses, and rental discounts based on location. Eligibility for medical, dental, vision, other voluntary benefits, and vacation accrual for regular full‑time employees working 30–40 hours/week. Sick time accrual in accordance with law.
