Senior Accountant OpportunityOur client is a rapidly growing global organization that was recently carved out from a large pharmaceutical company. The business is scaling quickly, both organically and through acquisition, and is building out its finance function to support that growth.Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to partner with the Controller and Assistant Controller on accurate financial reporting, policy design, and compliance. This role is critical to ensuring the organization's financials are sound and that it is well positioned for continued growth following its recent carve-out.Assist in preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAPComplete month-end and year-end close responsibilities, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded and reconciledPrepare supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts and provide variance analysisOversee daily accounting functions, general ledger entries, and account reconciliationsSupport preparation of financial reports for senior management, including variance analysis and key metricsEnsure adherence to internal controls and procedures across accounting activitiesAssist in external audit preparation and liaise with auditorsAssist in managing tax filings, including sales and property tax complianceImplement improvements in accounting processes and systems to increase efficiency and complianceParticipate in special accounting projects and ad hoc analysesIdentify root causes of issues in financial processes and drive continuous improvement initiativesDesign, document, and enforce accounting policies and procedures to strengthen controls and efficiencyBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including technical accounting and financial reportingStrong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirementsExperience with NetSuite ERP preferredAdvanced Excel skills preferredMulti-national, pharma/med device industry experience preferredExcellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical accounting issuesAbility to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExperience implementing accounting policies and internal controlsCompensation range of $120,000 to $140,000Hybrid work arrangement based in Radnor, PA – 3 days per week on siteCompetitive benefits package and career growth trajectoryOpportunity to be part of a rapidly evolving global organization expecting significant growth from $275M and beyond
