Role Description The Insurance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Lexington, NC. This role involves meeting with current and prospective customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate insurance and financial products. Daily responsibilities include providing policy information, preparing quotes, processing applications, handling policy changes, and supporting claims-related inquiries. The Insurance Specialist will manage follow-up communications, maintain accurate records in the agency’s systems, and participate in outreach activities to grow the customer base. Collaboration with team members to achieve sales and service goals is an important part of this position. Qualifications Knowledge of Insurance products and services, with the ability to explain coverage options clearly. Understanding of basic Finance principles and comfort discussing personal and household financial needs. Strong Communication skills, including active listening and clear, professional verbal and written interactions. Experience in Insurance Brokerage or similar roles involving policy placement and customer guidance. Customer Service skills with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and building long-term relationships. Ability to work on-site in Lexington, NC, and collaborate effectively within a small team environment. Proficiency with computer systems and CRM or agency management software; strong attention to detail and accuracy.
