Our client, a well-established and highly respected AM Law 200 firm, is looking to add a Restructuring, Bankruptcy and Creditor’s Rights Attorney to their growing team. Candidates can be located in Albany NY, Buffalo NY, Rochester NY, Syracuse NY, New York City or New Haven CT.
The ideal candidate will have experience representing debtors, landlords, financial institutions, buyers/sellers, litigation targets, and other parties in interest in out-of-court restructuring matters and Chapters 11 and 15 and other cases.
Candidates meet the following criteria:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- A minimum of four years of experience in complex bankruptcy matters and/or judicial clerkship experience
- Must be admitted to practice in New York State or Connecticut
- Ability to manage multiple matters, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The firm offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefit package. At this time, the good faith estimate of the annual salary range for this position is $125,000 to $165,000. Where a successful applicant is slotted within this range will vary based on legitimate criteria, such as experience, skill level and portable book of business.
