Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, PACU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess readiness for discharge from the PACU.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic charting system.
• Adapt to variable start times based on surgical schedules and unit needs.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in California.
• Minimum of 2 years PACU experience, including Trauma Level II experience.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required; post-anesthesia recovery certification preferred.
• Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.
• Ability to float between healthcare facilities within a specified region as needed.
