Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse - Redwood City, California. This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in a healthcare facility's operating room environment. The role requires adherence to facility-specific protocols and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience; graduate of an accredited nursing program; licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of care; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field; three (3) to five (5) years of operating room circulating and scrubbing experience preferred; current or future bachelors degree in nursing or related field; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Additional Information: Must have valid license and certifications. Candidates must enable skills-based hiring assessments. This position involves providing perioperative nursing care, including circulating and scrubbing duties, with proficiency in pre-operative area skills and intravenous (IV) start skills.
