Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Inspection in Greenwood, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine rounds, report security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor and contractor authorization, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and reporting access concerns according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed. Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
