Job Overview
A Manhattan based luxury real estate company has an opening for an experienced Doorperson within its Long Island City luxury rental building portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Doorperson in a residential building or in a related security position and will possess strong communication and customer service skills. Responsibilities and Duties- Greet residents.
- Screen and announce guests.
- Enforce building security.
- Accept and manage packages.
- Answer phones.
- Enter information into building-managing portal.
- Three (3) years of more of Doorperson or Security experience (residential building experience is preferred).
- Ability to speak and write clearly.
- Capability to pay close attention to detail.
- Must have flexible work availability. Must be available to work overtime as needed.
- Some Porter work may be required.
- Some heavy lifting (50+ lbs.) may be required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must have experience using a computer on the job. Experience using BuildingLink.com is a plus.
- 0-12 months: $22.3320 per hour (75% of the full wage rate)
- 12-24 months: $25.3096 per hour (85% of the full wage rate)
- 24+ months: $29.7760 per hour (100% of the full wage rate)
