Production AssemblerThe Production Assembler plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process, contributing to the manufacture of high-quality products. Responsible for executing assembly tasks according to the work instructions, this role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to quality standards. The Production Assembler must achieve set production goals, maintain a safe and clean work environment, and leverage Lean manufacturing tools to enhance efficiency.Shift:Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30PMMonday-Friday 5:00am-1:30PMCore functions:Follow established work instructions to properly assemble products and/or different parts of products.Achieve established goals or deadlines set for specific work areas.Operate required equipment per safety guidelinesComplete all required paperwork and/or data entry.May work at different workstations as production needs require.Attendance and dependability are essential job functions. Required to report to work on time and follow attendance guidelines.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications & Requirements:Education and Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.1-3 months of related experience and/or training preferred.Required Licenses:None.Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to perform basic math.Ability to read and interpret tape measurements accurately.Competencies:Adapts to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands; Changes approach or method to best fit the situation; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.Responds promptly to customer needs; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.
