This role is an onsite position within our bustling rehabilitation facility, located in the heart of Las Vegas, Nevada. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and screen patients to determine their specific rehabilitation needs and goals.
• Develop tailored, evidence-based treatment plans that incorporate a range of techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to facilitate recovery.
• Implement ongoing assessments to measure patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants and rehabilitation technicians, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of care.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to recovery.
• Document patient care accurately and in compliance with federal and state regulations while upholding the organization's commitment to quality care.
• Engage in case management duties to ensure a seamless discharge planning process for patients transitioning out of therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position involves working primarily with orthopedic patients across a wide age spectrum, from youth athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults dealing with age-related musculoskeletal disorders. Our facility also accommodates post-surgical patients needing specialized rehabilitation following orthopedic procedures. As a Physical Therapist at Vital Body Wellness, you will engage individuals with varying needs, ensuring they receive tailored care that addresses their unique circumstances and promotes optimal recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Nevada.
• Certification as a Healthcare Provider in CPR from the American Heart Association.
• Proficiency in using physical therapy equipment and conducting functional evaluations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a diverse range of patients and healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation processes.
• Previous involvement in program development for physical therapy practices is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
