Clinical Director Full Time Cleveland, OH, US 6 days ago Requisition ID: 1023 Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $90,000.00 Annually Job Description: Clinical Director Organization: Northern Ohio Recovery Association (NORA) Website: Location: Cleveland, Ohio Reports to: Executive Director Position Summary Northern Ohio Recovery Association (NORA), a nonprofit organization committed to promoting long-term recovery and wellness through peer-based support and evidence-based treatment services, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Director. This role will be responsible for providing oversight of the clinical practices of the organization and providing quality management activities that will support the improvement of the quality of clinical care and agency performance. Providing leadership and guidance in the area of counseling and clinical practices as well as developing clinical protocols and policy administration for the agency’s program treatment teams. Key Responsibilities Responsible for the development, management and instructional maintenance of all treatment programs compliance to all aspects of accreditation and other regulatory activities. Serve as a member of the agency’s CQI/QA Committee, review QA/UM Reports pertaining to the agency’s clinical care services and implement corrective work activities. Provide oversight to the program managers in identifying and developing specific training needs of staff on all aspects of the clinical operation of agency programs, including counseling skills, clinical documentation and clinical thinking, and treatment techniques. Ensuring that service is delivered efficiently and effectively to fulfill the objectives of each program by providing periodic reviews of the service delivered. Develops and provides oversight of the agency’s utilization management protocol that will ensure clinical review and appropriate use of the agency’s treatment resources. Develops clinical referral protocols with other adolescent and women service providers to ensure continuity of treatment services for NORA clients. Identifying areas that need to be improved or modified and developed, with the program manager, the clinical protocols and policies to resolve problems and improve service delivery. Keeping abreast of developments in the field and sharing the results with the program managers and staff. Provide assistance in submitting accurate information to the clinical and non-clinical management teams pertaining to the agency’s quality improvement activities and performance. Provide supervision and organization for staff pursuing certification/licensure as addiction professionals. Coordinate the recruitment and assignment of interns from local colleges and universities for treatment, prevention and intervention programs. Oversee all treatment issues with NORA’s medical staff. Responsible for responding to neighbor concerns in regards to the residential treatment facilities. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications LISW, LPCC, and/or LICDC licensure/certification. 20 years of clinical work Knowledge of addiction behavior and related social, psychological and health issues and related counseling techniques and practices. Possess strong knowledge base concerning the IDDT (Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment) Model Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, including when information contains precise data and terminology; Preferred Skills At least ten (10) years experience in teaching and/or providing therapeutic services to adult and adolescent clientele.
