Responsibilities

Greet patients and assist with rooming, ensuring a smooth patient flow.

Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering vaccines.

Support front office activities, including scheduling appointments and answering phones.

Provide additional clinical support as needed to collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper use of electronic medical records (EMR).

Required Skills

Experience supporting both front and back office functions in a healthcare setting.

Ability to take vitals, draw blood, and administer vaccines accurately.

Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients and staff.

Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Attention to detail in clinical documentation and patient care.

Additional Skills & Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience, including externship.

Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred.

Occupational health experience is strongly preferred.

Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required.

Ability to work in a clinical environment supporting health education and outreach.

Schedule flexibility to cover open days in June, with shifts varying between early morning and late afternoon hours.

Comfort working with patients ages 2 and older.
