Reference: VAC-SS-127901_1784792701 Posted: July 23, 2026 M&E Manager/Building Services Manager - high-end commercial AND residential projects in and around Berks, Oxford/Cambridge - c£85-90k + package We are seeking an experienced M&E Manager / Building Services Manager - Mechanical to join our client's team on various projects throughout the Southern Region including Commercial, Residential, Industrial, Schools, Government, Hotels/Leisure, Retail and Life Sciences projects. As a Mechanical and Electrical Manager, you will be responsible for multiple projects ensuring smooth operation and delivery of high-quality M & E systems. This will include travelling across the projects as required depending on what stage the project is at. This is an excellent opportunity to become a key part of a strong project team, taking full responsibility for overseeing all mechanical and electrical services installations from initial coordination through to commissioning and final handover. Role Responsibilities Supervise and manage mechanical and electrical subcontractors on site Coordinate M&E installations in line with the overall project programme Review and assess drawings, specifications, and technical submissions Chair and lead building services coordination meetings Ensure high-quality installations while maintaining strict health & safety standards Manage commissioning activities and oversee final system handover Requirements Proven experience as an M&E Manager with a main contractor background Background in delivering construction projects through each stage of the project delivery process, to ensure all works are fully coordinated and delivered in accordance with the contract specification, design, installation, programme, and commercial particulars. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical services installations Solid understanding of BMS and lighting control systems Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating services packages Valid SMSTS / SSSTS and CSCS certification Degree-qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred What's on Offer Competitive salary c£85-90k + car allowance + travel + benefits Opportunity to work on prestigious projects Collaborative and professional project environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
