Project Manager - Commercial Interiors

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial interior build-outs and tenant improvement (TI) projects within a general contractor environment. This is a hands-on, execution-driven role with full ownership from preconstruction through closeout, focused on office and light industrial renovations. You will work directly with landlords, tenants, and subcontractors to deliver fast-paced projects tied to occupancy and leasing timelines. This role is ideal for someone who can manage multiple projects independently, drive schedules, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-moving environment. Responsibilities Oversee commercial interior build-outs and TI projects from estimating through closeout Develop and manage project schedules, aligned with tenant occupancy deadlines Build and track project budgets, identifying cost variances early Manage subcontractors across trades, ensuring quality, sequencing, and accountability Review drawings, specifications, and scopes to ensure accurate field execution Interface directly with clients, landlords, and stakeholders Coordinate permitting, inspections, and closeout documentation Identify and resolve project risks, delays, and field challenges Support estimating efforts (takeoffs, pricing, scope development) Qualifications 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects (TI/build-outs required) Experience in a general contractor or subcontractor environment with full project ownership Strong background in office or light industrial renovations (ground-up only experience will not be sufficient) Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and scopes Proven ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously Experience with construction management and scheduling tools Strong subcontractor management and field coordination experience Hands-on execution mindset (not just coordination/support roles) Benefits Competitive salary (based on experience) Health insurance + benefits package Retirement plan options Paid time off Steady pipeline of commercial TI and renovation projects #J-18808-Ljbffr
