Insurance Producer- Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and results driven Insurance Producer - Business Development Specialist (BDS) to join our dynamic team in Marlton, NJ . If you are passionate about driving business success through innovative solutions and exceptional client service, we encourage you to apply for the Business Development Specialist. What You'll Do: Develop new business and maintain relationships with the client by providing guidance for strategic initiatives regarding Property and Casualty Insurance. (P&C) Schedule meetings with new opportunities for P&C. Gather the necessary information regarding the accounts, complete required application, and submit this information to the internal marketing department. Prepare (when necessary) and present proposals and plans to prospective clients. Proactively outreach to clients on annual basis for renewal. Meet monthly with Account Manager regarding service needs of current clients. Communicate and present renewal options to the client working with the Account Manager. Managing current book of business. What We're Looking For: Must maintain or obtain a New Jersey Producer License. (Property & Casualty) within 60 days of hire. REQUIRED Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance to meet HIG standards. REQUIRED Must adhere to all systems, procedures, and insurance company regulations. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs. Must maintain insurance license completing the required continuing education (CE) courses. Must maintain the confidentiality of all confidential information during employment. Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely both verbal and written. Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Why Join HIG?
