Vaco is seeking a Senior Accountant in La Vista, Nebraska!

Responsibilities include:

• Manage assigned month-end close activities, including reconciliations, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Review financial results and investigated significant balance sheet and income statement variances.
• Prepare and review journal entries to support accurate financial reporting.
• Coordinate audit support and responded to internal and external audit requests.
• Strengthen internal controls and supported financial reporting compliance.
• Improve accounting processes through standardization, automation, and workflow enhancements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support accounting operations and business objectives.
• Partner with stakeholders to monitor financial performance, risks, and controls.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives, including system implementations, process improvements, and business integration projects.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements:

• 2 years of accounting experience (Required)
• Public Accounting or Public Company Experience (Highly Preferred)
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (Required)
• Ability to go on site 4 days a week
• Salary $100-105k plus bonus
