Our group handles matters of Forensic Accounting, Ownership Disputes, Marital Dissolution, Economic Damages, Post Acquisition Disputes, White Collar Crime, and Estate matters among others. Forensic Senior Associates work directly with Managers, Senior Managers, Principles and Partners to analyze financial data to advance a particular matter and may have an opportunity to attend settlement conferences, hearings and proceedings, ultimately growing into an expert witness in their own right.We are seeking a Forensic Senior Associate to join our Forensic and Valuation Services Group (“FVS Group”) in the Princeton, NJ; Red Bank, NJ; Whippany, NJ; East Brunswick, NJ; New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Boston, MA; Burlington, MA; Braintree, MA; Providence, RI; or Buffalo, NY office location. But our commitment goes beyond our clients as we continue to live the Withum Way, promoting personal and professional growth for all team members, clients, and surrounding communities.Our Forensic Senior Associate will assist in analyses related to forensic investigations, business disputes and economic damage engagements, specifically:Assisting in preparation of document requestsSummarizing and interpreting relevant financial information and recordsPerforming forensic accounting and dispute/economic damage analyses, including bank tracing analyses, lost profits analyses, and other forensic analysesThe Kind of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of The Following:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accountingCandidate for CPA examMinimum 4 years of experience in public accounting, with at least 2 years in forensic accountingPrevious experience in litigation engagements is a plusStrong work ethicExcellent organizational and communication skillsHighly motivated with outstanding analytical skillsAbility to work effectively with all levels of staff as part of a team, or independentlyThe compensation for this position ranges from $90,000-$130,000. In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications.
