Phlebotomist Full Time

Labcorp is a leader in diagnostics, drug development, and healthcare innovation. We are seeking a full‑time Phlebotomy Technician to join our team at 890 Mill Street, Reno, NV 89502. Work schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm, with rotating weekends. Travel to additional sites as needed. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED, or equivalent California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT) Preferred Qualifications 1year or more of experience as a phlebotomist Current or prior experience at LabCorp 1year or more of phlebotomy experience with geriatric and pediatric patients Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Flexibility to work overtime as needed Exceptional customer service skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation Additional Job Standards In lieu of a state license requirement, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at the time of hire may satisfy the license requirement Pay Range $23.00 – $33.00 per hour Benefits Medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO) Tuition Reimbursement Employee Stock Purchase Plan Eligible for the quarterly incentive bonus program (PST incentive plan) Labcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
