Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of recent Cath Lab experience and current RCIS, RCVT, or RCES certification for a facility offering a full-service Electrophysiology program.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab performing minimally invasive cardiac procedures with a full-service Electrophysiology (EP) program
• May be assigned to support other Cardiovascular departments including Cath Lab, EP, and Cath Holding
• Schedule includes 5x8 and 4x10 shifts with varying start times between 7a-7p
• Position scheduled for 40 hours per week;
  some shifts may extend beyond 8 hours based on procedural volume
• Rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call required, averaging approximately 12 call days per month
• Overtime should be expected

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience required
• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program leading toward Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist registry
• ARRT candidates will not be considered
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• One of the following current credentials required: RCIS, RCVT, or RCES
• VA or compact license required in hand at time of submittal, if applicable
• Must pass EKG/telemetry proficiency testing with a score of 80% or higher, with no remediation available

Additional Information

• Support cardiac catheterization and EP procedures as part of a rotating team covering Cath Lab, EP, and Cath Holding
• Candidates with any prior license or background hits will not be considered
• Fit testing issues will eliminate a candidate from consideration;
  PAPR accommodations arenot available
• Approximately 3 hours of pre-start modules required
• RTO requests are reviewed and approved on a per-case basis
• Candidates must live 50+ miles from the facility for RN roles;
  allied positions may beconsidered within 50 miles
