Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) position at a pediatric hospital in Ohio, requiring an OH or Compact RN license and approximately 2 years of relevant experience.

Details

• Pediatric specialty hospital setting in Ohio
• Assignment to the Cardiovascular Pediatric ICU (CVPICU)
• Day shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Floating required to NICU, PICU, ED, stepdown, and med/surg units as needed
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Approximately 2 years of CVPICU or relevant pediatric critical care experience preferred
• 2 supervisory references required (at least 1 must be from a supervisor or manager-level reference; charge nurse references do not qualify)

Additional Information

• Local candidates are not eligible for this RN position
• Candidates who have worked permanently at this facility must have been separated for at least 2 years to be considered
• Punctuality is strictly enforced; tardiness and no-call/no-shows are taken very seriously and may result in termination
• Floating is a key expectation of this assignment and travelers must be prepared to work in various units as directed
