Staff Accountant

Description The Staff Accountant supports core accounting functions and plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the month-end close process, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Key Responsibilities Record, process, and maintain financial transactions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Perform accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, vendor communication, and payment support Support accounts receivable activities, including billing, cash application, and aging analysis Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Analyze account activity and investigate discrepancies Generate financial reports and assist with internal reporting needs Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with company policies Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial data and resolve issues Other duties as assigned Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) Understanding of fundamental accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information Preferred Qualifications 1–3 years of accounting or relevant internship experience Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 experience a plus) Familiarity with GAAP and standard accounting practices Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, squat, kneel, sit, and/or stand for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.
