Financial Accountant

An established company with a multi-state branch network is seeking a Financial Analyst. Reporting to the Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting, this key member of the team will have an active role in reporting analysis, ad hoc reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and projections. The ideal candidate will possess the skills to efficiently assemble various spreadsheets and financial models. This position offers direct exposure to senior leadership, including the CFO, CEO, and COO. Essential Job Functions: Perform financial and operational analysis Compile various statistical and financial reports on a monthly basis Analyze budget vs. actual monthly financial statements Perform ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by management Extract data from various sources for reports and analysis Participate in the quarterly review of operational bonuses Develop models, analytics, and assumptions related to the loan portfolio, management performance, ROI, and other outputs important to the company Produce branch-level, territory-level, and company-wide annual budgets Develop efficient methods of combining data from multiple systems to produce cohesive management reporting Communicate results and findings of various analyses Partner with the accounting department on further implementation of operational statistics and metrics into the accounting software Perform various accounting and other tasks in support of the Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting and executive leadership Qualifications: Advanced knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel General knowledge of and experience with data extraction tools Bachelor's degree in Business required (Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred) Exceptional math and problem-solving skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
