Position Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize the comfort and safety of patients throughout procedures, clearly communicating each step with sensitivity
• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of superior diagnostic images
• Manage and operate imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Maintain thorough documentation of procedures and patient records in our electronic system
• Engage in ongoing learning about advancements in ultrasound imaging methodologies and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly desirable

Required Certifications

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
