Entry-Level IT Help Desk / SupportGlens Falls, NY | $18-19/hour to start | Temp-to-Hire | Fully Onsite | M-F, 9am-5pmLooking to break into IT but don’t have formal IT experience yet?We’re working with a growing technology-driven company in Glens Falls that is looking for an Entry-Level IT Help Desk / Support team member. This is a great opportunity for someone who is naturally tech-savvy, enjoys figuring things out, and has strong customer service skills — even if your experience has been in retail, call center, hospitality, service, or another customer-facing environment rather than IT.Once fully trained, employees also have flexibility in choosing their regular schedule within the team’s available hours, with options such as 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, or 10:00 AM–6:00 PM.Why This Role?The company develops and supports its own technology, including customer-facing web applications and proprietary tools used in the transportation and logistics industry. You’ll learn the company’s systems and help users navigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.Responsibilities include:Provide phone, online chat, and general customer supportRespond to customer questions and troubleshoot issues with web-based applicationsHelp customers understand and navigate new technologyTroubleshoot and document IT issuesProvide first-level support for software and web applicationsAssist internal employees with workstation and other IT-related issuesSupport network and user Help Desk requestsHelp test web application updates before they go liveDocument solutions and communicate technical information clearlyThis is a temp-to-hire opportunity, with the goal of moving successful employees into a permanent position.
