Our commitment to building and innovating in the AI space provides the framework intended to drive smarter decision making and enhance how we build and operate our platforms and applications.As a member of Point72’s Technology team, we encourage and support your professional development from day one—helping you advance your technical skills, contribute innovative ideas, and satisfy your own intellectual curiosity—all while delivering real business impact for our multi-billion-dollar global business.WHAT YOU'LL DOOwn day-to-day operational responsibility for the stability, performance, and scalability of our enterprise block, file, and object storage platforms, shaping how storage supports business-critical workloadsBuild scalable automation and tooling using scripting and configuration management to eliminate manual tasks, accelerate provisioning, and standardize configuration at scaleDrive proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and performance analysis to surface trends, remediate risks, and optimize cost and utilizationInstall, configure, upgrade, and optimize storage systems and firmware to meet evolving workload requirements and lead hardware refresh and upgrade projectsTroubleshoot and resolve complex production incidents, lead root cause analysis, and implement durable corrective actions to minimize downtimeCollaborate with global support teams to ensure seamless 24x7 coverage, effective handoffs, and ongoing skill development across the support organizationPartner with infrastructure, database, cloud, and application teams to align priorities, validate performance, and deliver storage-related projects end-to-endMaintain and evolve operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures to promote consistency and rapid knowledge transferManage incident response and stakeholder communication for storage-related outages, producing post-incident reports and driving continuous improvementWHAT'S REQUIREDMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing enterprise storage platforms across production environmentsDemonstrated experience with block storage technologies, file storage, and object storageProven scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python, and Ansible to automate operational tasks and deploy configuration changes at scaleDirect experience with data protection technologies including Rubrik, Cohesity, and Data Domain, and with supporting backup, recovery, and disaster recovery workflowsHands-on experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and optimizing enterprise storage systems and firmware in production environmentsProven incident management and troubleshooting experience resolving complex storage issues under production pressure and restoring service rapidlyDemonstrated ability to collaborate with infrastructure, database, cloud, and application teams globallyWillingness to work in shifts, including weekends, participate in on-call rotations, and work from our New York office as neededExcellent written and verbal communication skills, strong documentation practices, and the ability to translate technical issues for non-technical stakeholdersCommitment to the highest ethical standardsWE TAKE CARE OF OUR PEOPLEWe invest in our people, their careers, their health, and their well-being. For more information, visit annual base salary range for this role is $150,000-$200,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
