Clearance required for start: No. Clearance type: Secret. Travel: Yes, 10% of the time. Job Title & Assignment Sr Principal Pricing Analyst based out of Woodland Hills, CA. This position will be staffed as full-time on-site. Teleworking is not available for this position. The position offers the 9/80 schedule. Responsibilities Develop, analyze, evaluate, coordinate, prepare, and support cost proposals to government and commercial customers. Review Requests for Proposals (RFP) and proposal documents for compliance with customer specifications/requirements and adherence to company policy. Ensure Northrop Grumman Estimating System compliance and provide interpretation of RFP requirements. Interact with personnel and management at all levels, interface and coordinate with other business management personnel daily. Support proposal reviews for senior management. Prepare and present cost estimates to management, customer representatives, and government audit agencies. Ensure adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA), and Northrop Grumman policies and procedures with regard to cost proposal preparation, review, compliance, submission, updates/revisions, and negotiations. Support audit requests, fact-finding, and negotiation discussions and the program budget baseline process. Support various departmental business management and operations functions. Create and administer pricing databases and coordinate implementation of pricing proposals across the organization. Ensure FAR/DFAR compliance of proposals and support proposals through the NAR/ICE and C101 corporate approval process. Support the front-end business acquisition process by developing proposals. Be the point of contact for all government audit inquiries, and work with staff to ensure timely responses and document RFIs. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of related experience in government contracts, subcontracts, estimating and pricing, finance, or business administration or a Master's Degree with 6 years of experience as described above. Will consider 12 years of applied experience in lieu of degree. Experience in the defense/aerospace industry. Working knowledge of FAR, DFAR, CAS, TINA and other Government procurement regulations as they pertain to bid/costing proposals. Experience using MS Office including Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s, Macros, etc.), Word, PowerPoint. Experience collaborating in a cross-functional environment. Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time. US Citizenship. The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance or related field. Experience working with Basis of Estimate (BOE) and analyzing BOE quality. Working knowledge of the FAR Part 15 and 31. Experience with different proposal and contract types (FFP, CPFF, CPIF, CPAF, T&M). Experience using ProPricer. Experience with the concepts, principles and standard practices in costing and pricing. Experience with customer negotiations and associated procurement documentation. Experience and understanding of statistical analysis and limitations thereof (sample size implications, statistical power, forecast error, etc.). Active DOD security clearance. Primary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
