Location & Employment Details Location: Store 00007 Canton, CT 06019 Position type: Regular / Part‑time Pay range: $17.94 – $22.45 per hour, USD Who You Are (Qualifications) Driven to create, build, and cultivate relationships with customers and the community, focusing on prospecting and establishing a strong clientele. Strong ambition and passion for achieving goals, both individually and as part of a store team, thriving in a team environment. Ability to work cooperatively in a diverse workplace. Passionate about selling and seeks organized ways to drive new traffic into the store. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; high level of integrity. Strong planning and organizational skills to proactively contact clientele with relevant, timely, and meaningful sales intent. Professional, assertive, and friendly, able to make independent decisions. Technological aptitude to navigate POS, computer, iPad, and handheld systems. Availability of at least 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physically able to climb ladders, move around regularly, stand for extended periods, and lift, carry, and move up to 40 lbs. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities) Create and foster a culture of hospitality through exceptional customer experiences and build enduring relationships internally and externally. Support all service enhancers to build strong relationships, including active use of Concierge. Achieve sales and service metrics in key measurable areas such as client outreach, appointment setting, and Talbots Classic Awards. Plan and prioritize tasks and responsibilities to meet customer and business needs. Seek to understand customer needs and wants through intentional conversation. Share current products and fashion trends with customers to inspire and build trust. Participate actively in community and store activities and events that promote the Talbots brand. Lead or supervise others on occasion and open or close the store for business. Represent the brand image professionally.
